01 / Overview

Quiet patterns, precise borders, joints you can read with your eye.

01

What it is

Stone laid with restraint. A driveway is the first thing a house says about itself — so we approach every paver project as a piece of architecture, not a surface. Pattern, border, transition and joint are all decided on paper before a single stone is cut.

02

How we approach it

Most paver failures aren't a paver problem — they're a base problem. We over-build the foundation so the surface looks the way it does on day one for the next twenty years.

02 / Options

Patterns & variations

Herringbone — 45°
P/01

Herringbone — 45°

The strongest interlock. Our default for driveways under load.

Running Bond
P/02

Running Bond

A calmer rhythm. Reads best on walkways and courtyard fields.

Soldier-Course Border
P/03

Soldier-Course Border

A precise charcoal frame that makes everything inside look intentional.

Fan / Circle
P/04

Fan / Circle

A centerpiece detail. Hand-cut on site, no two arcs identical.

04 / Method

How a pavers actually gets built.

  1. 01

    Excavate to depth

10–14 inches removed below grade. Geo-textile separator laid first.

  2. 02

    Build a base that lasts

Crushed Granular A in 2-inch lifts, compacted to 95% Proctor between each pass.

  3. 03

    Edge restraint

Concrete haunch or steel edging set against compacted screenings — no movement, ever.

  4. 04

    Set the field

Pattern laid from the most-visible edge inward. Cuts hidden against borders.

  5. 05

    Compact, sand, seal

Vibratory compaction, polymeric joint sand, then optional sealer at the 30-day mark.
